A quiet residential area that is a short walk to the South Bank of the river Tyne with beautiful views up and down the river and particularly stunning sunsets. The neighbourhood is friendly and vibrant with a nice mix of all ages with local shops, cafes, pubs and an ice-cream parlour. Arriving here, we are 20 minutes drive from the airport, 10 minutes bus or taxi from the centre of Newcastle, or 2 minutes from the A1. This is a perfect location for exploring what the North East has to offer whether you want to head north into Northumberland with it's hills and beaches, or sample the vibrant City life. It is all within easy reach. With the City being only 2 miles along the riverside, a walk into town on a fine day is very appealing, taking in the historic Staiths structure and the many bridges crossing the Tyne. Alternatively, close frequent bus routes can get you around the city and beyond, connecting to the Tyneside Metro and the Shields Ferry for extra adventure.
