Rock Cottage is a cosy, compact retreat on the edge of the pretty harbour of St Abbs, just ½ mile from Coldingham Bay on the Scottish border. The property is set within the courtyard of Dive St Abbs, where the owners run a diving charter boat and B&B. This is the perfect destination for couples looking to be in the heart of village and harbour-side life. There are views of the harbour from every window, and the living room opens onto a small enclosed decked patio right next to the rock. There is a post office, shop and a couple of cafés in the village. Coldingham, 1½ miles, and Eyemouth, 5 miles away offer a golf course and a wider selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There’s so much to do in the area – St Abbs Head Nature Reserve is fun for everyone, and also has a wonderful cliff top walk. Paxton House, Manderson, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles offer an insight into their historic past. Beach 2 miles. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles. Free WiFi
