We are Tim and Lucy and we live on the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast with our son Jack and our daughter Emily.We have been successfully letting our cottages: Arwen cottage in Aldeburgh, Thimble cottage in Southwold, Albion House and Stable cottage in Saxmundham and Castle Hill Cottage in Framlingham via our sites Aldeburgh Seaside Cottages, Southwold Seaside Cottages and Seaside Luxury Cottages. We are thrilled to have met such interesting people and received such lovely feedback for it. Tim was born and bred in beautiful Suffolk and I was born in Lima-Peru and brought up in Milan-Italy. I speak Spanish, Italian, French, German and English. As my husband’s family is from Suffolk we have strong ties with this beautiful part of the world. Having travelled extensively we have been inspired by the good things we have come across in properties we have stayed in. As you can tell, we are passionate about providing somewhere special that our guests will love, enjoy and return to. We feel incredibly lucky to be able to live in this part of the world and are loving sharing our cottages with some amazing people from the Booking community.

Castle Hill Cottage is a beautiful romantic period cottage set in the heart of the Medieval Town of Framlingham best known for Ed Sheeran's Castle on the Hill. The cottage dates to 1600’s and has been tastefully renovated over two floors. It sleeps 4 people in comfort and offers the perfect cosy retreat for couples and families seeking a relaxing holiday or a romantic break.This hideaway is ideal for short breaks and is perfect as a base for touring the picturesque Suffolk Countryside and Coast. Castle Hill cottage is full of character and comfortable, clean and well-equipped, including the use of unlimited Wi-Fi.COTTAGE:Accommodates:6- Bedrooms: 3- Beds: 4(king, double,2 singles)-Bathroom:1-Check In: 4:00PM- Check Out: 10:00AM. Please KINDLY NOTE: As with many cottages built in this era 1600's, the steps to the 1st floor are quite steep, care needs to be taken.The bathroom/toilet is downstairs. The 3 bedrooms are interconnecting (there is no separate hallway).The stairs lead directly into the master bedroom-king bed. There is a door to the second bedroom - one single bed and one pull out bed, which then leads to the third bedroom- double bed. Please check the photographs before booking.

The cottage is situated in the heart of Framlingham just one street from the Market Square (25 yards). Framlingham is a small market town and home to the magnificent twelfth century castle belonging to the Earls and Dukes of Norfolk through the centuries. It is said that Mary I spent time here in 1553, before going to London to reclaim her throne from Lady Jane Grey. Visit Saint Michael’s church where you can see the tomb of Henry Fitzroy - the illegitimate son of Henry VIII. You’ll notice the tomb is decorated with heraldic iconography, showing how important he was to his father. Famously the multi-award winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran grew up in Framlingham and began writing songs inspired by the local area. His 2017 single ‘Castle on the Hill’ was inspired by the castle in his hometown. Framlingham is the perfect town for a stroll, shop and glimpse of history – there’s even a Town Trail marking all the primary sites of historic interest. Market Hill is the Town’s centre and still hosts markets on Saturday and Tuesday offering great local produce together with trinkets and collectibles. There are excellent shops too, for gifts, food, fashions and antiques.
