Walking distance of all local amenities with an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. Situated near Cliff Railway, Severn Valley Railway and Castle Walk. Rondor cottage originally built in around 1830 has changed in many ways over the years. Recently it has gone through a complete revamp with all the modern expectations whilst attempting to keep the orginal features. Situated at the top of a very steep hill with limited vehicle access (it’s recomended that guests do not drive to the house as parking is permit only with little to no turning room). There are two steps leading to the front door and a spiral staircase leading to the first floor where the bathroom and bedrooms are located- if you have mobility issues, then sadly Rondor Cottage may not be for you. The cottage comprises of gas central heating and hot water there is a log burner for those particular cold evenings. WiFi is available via 4g data device along with a smart tv. The kitchen is small and well equipped with modern induction and electric appliances.

This really is a lovely spot steeped in history originally situated within the town walls of Bridgnorth. The locals are friendly and dozens of tourists passing each day there’s plenty of smiles. Located at the top of the hill, turn right out the door to explore Bridgnorth Hightown, walk down the Cartway to Lowtown and to save your legs, use the Cliff Railway rather than the steps.
