Rose Garden Retreat offers a private, quiet room and it is the only room on the upper floor. It is a relaxing calm space and the house has a calm and chilled vibe. With notice I can put up a travel cot in the room for babies from 0 - 2 years (up to 15kg) You are welcome to use the kitchen and can use the lounge when it is free. The downstairs bathroom is shared with me only Although breakfast is not part of the booking i am happy for you to help yourself to breakfast of cereal and fruit in the morning. I am also able to cook you breakfast for an additional fee. Please advise me one night before arrival if you would like to order breakfast and I can provide you with options. I can also make you a fresh and welcoming home made meal - please ask me for options and fees if you would like to order this.
I love having this opportunity to let out this room and meet new people. I am a friendly person but also someone who will give you space too, My main aim is to give you a chance to relax - it is a quiet house so great for working or relaxing. The garden is a relaxing space.
Rayleigh is a lovely little town with lots of nice restaurants, pubs, gift shops and supermarkets and open spaces within walking distance. It is a 10 minute walk into town or to Rayleigh station which has links to Southend on Sea and London. Guests tell me that they like the wide choice of restaurants, coffee houses and excellent lunch and brunch eateries all within walking distance. Buses to Stansted Airport, Southend on Sea, Basildon, Hockley, Wickford, Hullbridge and Benfleet and surrounding areas.
