Nestled up a private leafy lane directly above the National Trust owned Towan Beach a 5 minute walk down the leafy lane Rostowan is Located just outside the old fishing village of Portscatho, easily accessible on foot, about a 30 minute stroll via a quiet winding country lane. The village, which offers 3 pubs, 2 cafes and a shop/post office and also has beautiful sandy beaches, brilliant food and a pretty fishing harbour, a lovely place to unwind with a pint or spend an afternoon crabbing
Can be called if problems do happen
St. Mawes is the larger town in the area and can be accessed by car, or by walking around the creek to Place Manor where it is possible to catch the foot passenger ferry. From St Mawes it is possible to catch a number of different ferries to places such as Falmouth and Truro (the capital of Cornwall). Due to this Property's extremely remote location it is approached by a narrow track of about 1/4 of a mile, we have a ordinary family Car and have no problems but we we do feel that our guest should be aware of this though, Free parking at the property for up to 3 cars.
