An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Victorian cottage, with its own private garden, has been tastefully renovated with all modern amenities to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. We are available to personally greet you and help you settle in. We live in another cottage just around the corner with our two dogs.

Garve is a perfect location to explore the beautiful surroundings of Highland Scotland. Garve is ideal to explore both the east, west and north cost of the Highlands. Mountains, rivers and lochs abound, affording breathtaking views and exciting outdoor activities wherever you choose to go. The Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer and the old market town of Dingwall are just a few miles away. Situated half way between Inverness and Ullapool on the North 500 Route, Garve is well serviced by both train and bus. The world famous Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh (which takes you to the Isle of Skye) railway route has a stop in Garve. The cottage is located just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
