Meet Your Hosts – Jenni & Linda Hi, we’re Jenni and Linda—a mother and daughter team originally from Manchester who fell head over heels for the peaceful beauty of Anglesey. What started as a dream soon became a way of life, and now we spend our days caring for our growing family of rescued animals and sharing the magic of this place with guests from all over. Our retreat is more than just a holiday rental—it’s a passion project rooted in love for the land, animals, and a slower, more meaningful way of living. From the alpacas and goats to the chickens and the cats, every animal here has a name, a story, and a special place in our hearts. Jenni is also a busy mum of two, and between school runs and muddy boots, she helps run the experiences and looks after the day-to-day care of the animals. Linda brings calm and wisdom (and the best tea breaks!) and is always on hand to help make your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. Mynydd Bodafon & Beyond Our cottage is nestled on the peaceful slopes of Mynydd Bodafon, the highest point on the island of Anglesey and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From your doorstep, you'll be surrounded by open fields, wildflowers, and far-reaching views across land and sea—perfect for those who love walking, photography, or simply soaking in the stillness of nature. Whether you're up early for sunrise or stargazing under the clear night sky, the atmosphere here is tranquil, grounding, and truly unforgettable. You're likely to see wild ponies, red kites soaring overhead, and perhaps even a curious goat or two from our herd! Just a short drive away are the charming coastal villages of Moelfre and Benllech, both known for their stunning walks and coastal paths. Moelfre is a picture-perfect fishing village with a pebble beach, RNLI lifeboat station, and a strong maritime history. Benllech offers long stretches of golden sandy beach, shallow waters ideal for paddling, and traditional seaside charm. Both villages have cosy cafés, gift shops, and welcoming pubs. One of our local favourites is The Pilot Boat Inn, just down the road from the cottage. It’s a friendly, family-run pub known for its delicious food, hearty portions, and relaxed atmosphere—perfect after a day exploring the island. Whether you're adventuring along the Anglesey Coast Path, discovering hidden coves, or enjoying a peaceful drink in a country pub, you’ll fall in love with the natural beauty, slow pace, and warm community that makes this part of the island so special.
