Company information

Hello, I am Nina, I am one of the owners of Claire Anthony Homes, thanks for checking out our bio and considering one of our holiday rentals for your stay. We are a small family run company which started with one property and a love of renovation and design. We wanted to share our family holiday house with others and were amazed by the feedback and the number of holidays we were able to host. Especially coming out of lockdown we were able to host so many family reunions and UK staycations. Managing our one property very quickly grew to helping others manage their own properties, and now we have a high-quality selection of homes across the UK, and every month we seem to be growing. Our focus is always ensuring you have the most enjoyable and hassle-free trip. Our properties are in some of our favourite places, so we have loads of local recommendations for you. We are based in Yorkshire and Glasgow, but we have local teams by each of our properties who are all great and more than happy to help should you need it! If you would like to know anything about any of the holiday lets, we have before booking then please reach out. We hope to be hosting you very soon!

Neighbourhood information

The most well-liked tourist attraction in the Peak District today is Buxton, the site of the well-known Buxton Water. Buxton is a spa town in the heart of the picturesque Peak District, encircled by the country's first National Park. An ideal base for a Peak District adventure, as it is within an hour’s drive of Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and Stoke. Due to the therapeutic qualities of its renowned thermal spa waters—known today and packaged as Buxton Water—Buxton has a rich historical importance. The Natural Baths are situated where the old Roman Baths once stood, allegedly formerly the location of an ancient sanctuary. The Crescent Heritage Experience, the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, and one of the Discover Buxton Tours are further options for experiencing the past. The Buxton Country Park wild areas and several woodlands are added to all of this. You can go to Poole Cavern, a well-known limestone show cave, experience the extreme thrills of Go Ape rope walks, or go to Buxton Raceway to see Thrills in the Hills. All of the well-known Peak District sights, including Solomon Temple, Bakewell Town, Goyt Valley, and Errwood Reservoir, are nearby.
