Set in the heart of Saltburn (voted one of the best beaches and resorts in the UK) and with views looking out over the beach and sea, the property sleeps 6 and is the perfect family getaway. With wood burning stove, high spec fitted kitchen / diner, spacious lounge, sea-facing window benches, and two funky bathrooms, there's plenty of space for some post beach relaxation. We've kitted the place out with everything we can think of and added original artwork and a California style colour scheme.

We I have always loved to travel, and like spending as much time as we can outdoors. We've recently been joined by our 2 daughters - by far our most demanding guests, but also easily bribed with ice cream! We are regular travellers ourselves and have always appreciated the little extras and thoughtful touches in some of the places we have stayed. We have tried to do the same for our own guests and create a real home away from home.

Saltburn has won numerous awards and accolades for its beach and town and offers unspoilt golden sands with Victorian pier and 19th century working (most of the time!) cliff tramway. Saltburn is famous for its surfing and has a thriving artistic community; its a fun, laid back place. There are an ever-growing number of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, and many of these are local independents which we would always encourage our guests to support. Our Welcome Pack will share a few of our suggestions on places to eat, drink and visit. The Seaview restaurant next to the pier which recently featured on BBC’s Remarkable Places to Eat and is definitely worth a visit if you can blag a table. There’s not really anything Saltburn lacks in terms of food or things to do. There are some fantastic walks, not least along the beach towards Redcar if the tide is out. The Cleveland Way has a stunning section along the cliffs at the other end of Saltburn’s beach and is highly recommended. For kids (as well as the beach) there is plenty to explore in Valley Gardens which is also the home of Saltburn miniature railway, amusements on the pier, crazy golf and a surf school to name but a few
