Scout on the Water, sleeping six, is a beautifully furnished New England style retreat set within the gated community of The Landings. Situated in landscaped surroundings overlooking a stunning 114 acre sailing & fishing lake, it’s perfect for an adventurous family holiday or special celebration, with water sports, walking & cycling on tap. A paddle board, kayaks & Indian style canoe can be hired from the owner. Or fire up the bubbles & kick back in the relaxing hot tub & stare at the ever-changing sky and water! The pretty clapper board-style exterior and fantastic setting make a brilliant first impression & the decked area providing plenty of space for sitting out & enjoying uninterrupted lake views comes a close second. Furnished to a high standard, Scout on the Water offers a spacious open plan living area with a bespoke fully fitted kitchen, dining & lounge area with lake views. Wall to ceiling glass windows and patio doors open onto a large private deck with outdoor furniture, gas barbecue & hot tub. There are three en suite double bedrooms - two with 6' zip & link beds on the first floor (can be converted into twin beds if required) and one king on the second floor.

Scout on the Water has prime position in the Cotswold Water Park and benefits from the range of free facilities and activities available on The Landings, making it ideal for families with children of all ages. You have full access to two tennis courts as well as many walking and cycle paths. There is bike storage for the keen cyclist and bike hire is available. On neighbouring Spring Lake, which is a 5 minute walk away, you can fulfil all your water sports aspirations, with waterskiing, wakeboarding and even inflatable rides available. There is also a Lakeside Brasserie on Spring Lake which serves excellent food, fine wine and beers, live sports on the many screens available. With lake side views, you can watch friends and family enjoying the water sports. A short walk takes you to the Four Pillars Hotel and Boathouse Restaurant and a little further you will find the pretty village of South Cerney with a shop and good pubs and restaurants. Scout on the Water is ideally situated too for exploring the towns and villages of the beautiful Cotswolds region and Cirencester known as ‘The Capital of the Cotswolds’, is 4 miles away.
