Outside there is a front and rear enclosed garden with furniture and off-road parking for one car to the rear of the property. Within 0.6 miles, you will find a shop, pub and beach. Please note, this property welcomes one well-behaved dog, but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available on request. The seaside town of South Shields is located near the Tyne River's mouth, a few miles downstream of Newcastle upon Tyne. South Shields, historically part of County Durham,  was known for its shipbuilding, which was replaced in the 19th century by heavy industries including coal mining and glass production.
