Seaforth cottage was a very small but very cosy little cottage. In a beautiful and quaint seaside town with stunning views and big grassy hills to roll down. You can see the appeal with its gentle landscapes and delicious seafood restaurants....

Seaforth Cottage
Welcome to Seaforth Cottage, Nairn in the heart of historical Fishertown, Nairn. This lovely wee Cottage has been a firm favourite over the years with some guest returning for a fourth visit. So sunny in the summer and so cosy in the winter, Seaforth cottage is in the heart of historical Fishertown, Nairn. Built in the 19th century this modest, wee cottage with its log burner is snug in winter and in summer you can sit out on the patio and catch the sun! Unlike a number of Cottages within historical Fishertown today without a garden we are lucky enough to have a small area to the front with a garden bench to sit out. In times gone by, the Fisher women would use the River Nairn, 25m away, to wash their clothes, spreading them over the bushes to dry, so we feel lucky to have a washing machine and an area to dry clothes today! Being centrally located, 600m from the beach, close to the River Nairn you’ll be well placed for discovering Nairn. The ground floor is open plan with the kitchen set off the living room, dining table with chairs are also provided. The winding staircase, a quirk of Fishertown Cottages, leads to the bathroom, coombe ceiling kingsize bedroom and twin bedroom Your furry friend is also welcome! 🐾
Fishertown is a old fishing village, its many streets and lanes all lead to the harbour or beach, a beautiful place for a wander on a summers day. Wilson Street, where Seaforth cottage is located, is a quiet cul de sac so has very little traffic. Our town has so much to offer including one of the best beaches on the coast on your doorstep where are regularly visited by pods of Dolphins and Basking Sharks off the end of the pier Nairn Highland Games, held on the Links, attracts competitors, a visiting Fair and visitors from across the globe, with many Nairnites making their annual pilgrimage home to catch up with family and friends and watch the Games. Our Blue Ribbon beach is a favourite for locals and tourists alike. James’ Cafe on the Links with their selection of artisan ice cream, and Strathnairn Café with their menu of fresh Scottish seafood offering anything from Oysters to Langoustines, are a massive draw card along with a children play area and swimming pool all within a 5 minute walk of the front door. Nairn has a choice of takeaway food outlets, great restaurants and cafes, many of them on your doorstep. Seaforth Cottage - 10 minute walk to the Bus Station and a 15 minute walk to the Train station. Inverness Airport is a 15 minute drive. Nairn can also provide a number of reliable Taxi firms.
