The property is a true cottage. It is in the region of 200 years young, we have upgraded it with the needs of the modern traveller in mind retaining key features that hark back to another age. The inhabitants have been many ranging from the mining and coal industries, to the people who made the uniforms for the Napoleonic wars to indeed the many international visitors who enjoy a glimpse of a bygone age.
We are a happily married couple providing bed and breakfast here for 25 years. We enjoy meeting people and have been lucky to win Tripadvisor certificates of excellence for the past 5 years
Situated in the heart of a vibrant growing village we have pubs a restaurant various fast food outlets grocery shops etc. All within walking distance.
