Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays is a locally based self-catering agency focusing on East Devon. Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of over 180 properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

Shell Cottage is a spacious, stylish cottage situated in the heart of Sidmouth, in a quiet residential area just a few minutes level walk from the town centre and esplanade with wide sweeping pebble beach. The property has an enclosed patio style garden with seating for five guests. A door leading to large enclosed patio style garden with garden furniture. Storage for bicycles etc. Ground floor cloakroom with WC. On the first floor there are three spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1: Bedroom with a king size bed and a TV. Bedroom 2: Double bedroom Bedroom 3: Single bedroom. White bathroom suite with walk in shower, toilet, bath and hand basin. At the rear, there is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor seating and a pretty arbour seat, a real sun trap, perfect for spending lazy afternoons. There is a walk-in storage room accessed from the garden containing everything you need for the beach, including 5 beach chairs, mats, buckets & spades, and beach toys. Please note there is no lawn area. Private parking for 1 car on the car park adjacent to the cottage.

Guests can explore the Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton Mill and Lympstone Manor.
