Enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature of our great Cumbria & Lake District at the Sycamore Cottage, and let it be your home during your stay. Come home to even more natural and beautiful wetlands, forestry, and wildlife. There are three ponds at the property which is a stones throw from Keekle river and maybe enjoy some bird watching with plenty of species to capture on a beautiful photo or even just a memory you wish to enjoy for yourself or you could even dear stalk through field and forest that this beautiful eco cottage is set within. That’s not all though; the most amazing part is our family of otters. We really wish you a great welcome to the Sycamore Cottage. We are sure that if you love nature and its preservation, you will have the most amazing stay here.

This Cottage is an ideal location for those looking to explore the local area and Cumbria. A short 10-minute drive to Ennerdale Water, 35 minutes to Loweswater with Crummock and Buttermere beyond. This property is only 200 yards from the C2C cycle track for walkers and has secure storage for cyclists. Longlands Lake is also nearby. The Cottage is 25 miles from Keswick in the Northwest Lake District and 47 miles from Windermere and the South Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful Lake District. Although this property is ideal for holidaymakers, it would also suit those in the area for work, with local transport links to West Cumberland Hospital, Sellafield, and Westlakes Science Park.
