Our gorgeous Georgian home in nestled in the quaint Charter Village of Bampton in Mid-Devon. We are well located for various outdoor activities and are on the outskirts of Exmoor National Park. The area around has lots to offer for the visitor from visiting quaint villages to National Trust sites. We offer three stylish and comfy rooms all with king size beds and each with their own private bathroom. The suites are newly renovated each with their own private bathroom. Protea, Lily and Disa suites each have their own particular flair with original art, funky decor and added touches. We take pride in our home and in the suites for our guests and we like to provide a comfortable but also beautiful touch to everything we do. We provide croissants, biscuits, fruit, tea and coffee in an adjoining kitchenette during your stay. An under-counter fridge, microwave and toaster are handy additions. We are in the heart of Bampton which offers pubs, award winning restaurants, artisan coffee shops and great Fish & Chips too. Village shops like traditional greengrocer, butcher, baker are all within short walking distance. We even have our own wine shop nearby.

We are originally from Cape Town, South Africa and are now happily living in beautiful mid Devon, UK. Our interests are varied ranging from renovating period homes, travelling, cooking and entertaining, gardening and collecting art. We have an award winning cafe on site for our guests to enjoy - open Thursday to Sunday. Meeting new people and having new experiences adds fun to our lives.

Bampton is a 300 year old charter village on the edge of Exmoor National Park. It has great pubs, top restaurants, a deli, wine shop and great village shops. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and Bampton is well placed to enjoy various activities like fishing, hiking, cycling etc. It is a great base to explore many attractions like Knighthayes National Trust, Wimbleball Lake, Dunster Medieval village, Tarr Steps and much more not forgetting Exmoor National Park
