A newly renovated apartment that can sleep up to four people in two generous double bedrooms. Situated above a quaint tearoom, "Hearts of Ampleforth" originally the village shop dating back to the 1800s, in the picturesque village of Ampleforth. The Domesday Book mentions the village in 1086 as Ampreforde, translated as the Ford of the Sorrel. The book of the same title is just one of the books on our well stocked book shelf for our guests to learn more about the area.
We are available on-site between 10am till 4pm Thursday until Monday
Nestled in the picturesque village of Ampleforth on the North Yorkshire Moors. Close to the busy market town of Helmsley. Half an hour drive from the historic City of York. Surrounded by beautiful countryside walks. There are a number of historic Abbeys and Castles to explore in the area, with the East Coast within half an hours drive.
In the village there are two excellent pubs and a well stocked village shop.
There is a regular bus service to York and surrounding villages. Plenty of off-street parking in the village.
