Chandlers Ford is a beautiful area with plenty of local walks and children’s play areas within the Knightwood area. Valley Park Woodlands is minutes away and is a peaceful reserve, with ancient trees, ponds and meadows. Flexford Nature Reserve is closeby, offering walks & wildlife spotting opportunities. Southampton, with shopping (West Quay), restaurants, museums, harbour walks, nightlife and Southampton’s Football Stadium which also hosts music concerts. Eastleigh is a shorter drive offering shopping, cinema, restaurants, a leisure centre with pool and also TeamSport Go Karting and Crazy Golf centre. In addition to the numerous shops and restaurants, historical Winchester offers a main street market, which takes place every Thursday, Friday & Saturday with a variety of different traders. There’s a Farmers’ Market on the 2nd and last Sunday of each month, with large scale with fresh produce stalls. There’s a Christmas Market that runs from mid-November every year.
