Thame is located 14 miles east of Oxford, 10 miles south-west of Aylesbury and 47 miles from London. It is well connected to Birmingham and London by the M40 motorway and has excellent road links to Chinnor (B4445), Princes Risborough (A4129) and Bicester (B4011). Thame is easily accessible from the M40 at J6, J7 and J8a heading west and J8a and J6 heading east. The A418 links Thame to Oxford and Aylesbury.
By Train:
Haddenham and Thame Parkway is only 2 miles from Thame and is on the Oxford / Birmingham to London Chiltern Line. The station is on a direct line into a London Marylebone, a journey that takes under an hour. Sapphire 280 (Arriva) provides a regular link from the station to the town centre.
By Bus:
The Link 40 Carousel bus goes from High Wycombe to Thame. The 280 and X8 Arriva bus travels via Thame from Aylesbury to Oxford. The London to Oxford Tube drops off at Thornhill Park and Ride, where a connecting 280 bus will take you to Thame.
