We believe that spending quality time with friends and family (and four legged friends) should be on the top of our leisure list. We have created a portfolio of unique cottages with original features where groups can really make themselves at home. Whether 'home' is playing games around a roaring log burner, kicking off muddy boots and pouring yourself a well deserved glass of wine or cooking up a family feast. The Cotswolds is the perfect area to come and enjoy some time away from the stresses of day to day life. Squirrel Barn is the perfect retreat for couples and groups of up to four guests. The barn has been sympathetically restored and still retains many of its original features including exposed beams and Cotswold stone walls. Book Direct and Save 10%. On entering the cottage there is a fully equipped kitchen to the right hand side with built in fridge freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. Just past the kitchen is a light and airy sitting room with seating for four guests around a cosy log burner. We provide a basket of logs and some kindling to get you started. From the living room there are double doors leading out onto a sunny, enclosed patio area perfect for alfresco dining and evening BBQs. Upstairs the barn has a pretty master bedroom at the back with a contemporary en suite with walk in shower. Bedroom two is at the top of the barn and boasts a king size bed and views over the roof tops of Longborough. There is a second bathroom on the first floor with a shower over a large bath. The barn is pet friendly and we do have a high chair and travel cot should you wish to bring along babies and small children. There is parking outside the property for 1 car on the roadside and a further car parking space in front of our garage at the back of the property

Longborough is a picturesque village just 2 miles from the Cotswold town of Stow on the Wold and is famous for it's open air Opera Theatre. The cottage is situated on a pretty lane in the centre of the village just a 5 minute walk from the small convenience shop and a friendly local pub. Locations such as Bourton on the Water, Moreton in Marsh, Stratford and Blenheim Palace are all just a car ride away.
