This beautiful 3 story cottage is a level 100m walk from the picturesque High Street with its boutique shops, markets, historic sites and restaurants. The property was comprehensively renovated in 2016 and has an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings to a very high standard. The owners personally clean and prepare the house for every guest to ensure the standards are of the highest order, a food pack and flowers are provided to welcome you. Very sorry but we don't accept dogs.

We maintain the house to a very high standard and every element is presented, prepared and cleaned by us personally - you can be assured of freshly washed bed linen and towels, an impeccably clean property and we even provide some basic provisions to get you off to a start should you get here late enough for the shops to be closed - we genuinely do everything we can to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Wells is very small and so St Etheldreda's Cottage is very close to the high street (100m). There is a large supermarket just around the corner (100m) and the bus stations is also approx 150m from the property. All of the Wells sights are within walking distance. Glastonbury, the Somerset Levels (many nature reserves) and the Mendip Hills (Cheddar and Wookey Hole) are under 10 miles. The town of Street has a large retail outlet complex (Clarks Village) and an open air, art-deco style lido (summer only). Frome is a very arty town and has a fantastic vintage market on 1st Sunday of every month, Nunney is a village on the way and has the quintessential castle adjacent the river and is very pretty. There is a lavender farm at Faulkland which is in the direction of Bath - the famous Georgian and Roman city. Bristol has lots to offer in the docks, with museums and art galleries and lots of industrial heritage. - there is many things to do in the vicinity.
