There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, just turn left out of the property and on reaching the end of Francis Avenue you will find them in Albert Road.
Southsea has a very lively social scene with many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance to Albert Road, Palmerston Road and Southsea Shopping Centre.
You will probably need to use your car or the local transport to go a bit further afield and visit the popular Gunwharf Outlet Village and Old Portsmouth which is a must!

Fratton which is approximately a 15–20-minute walk to catch direct trains to London, Southampton, Brighton etc.

Out of the property and turn right. Walk along Francis Avenue to outside Lidl on the main road. This bus service will take you to Portsmouth City Centre, Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station, Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf.
Out of the property and turn left. Walk to the end of Francis Avenue where you will have two options:
Option 1: Cross the road to the south side. This bus service will take you along Albert Road towards Gunwharf.
Option 2: At end of Francis Avenue turn left, head towards the Festing Public House where there is a bus stop. From here this service will take you to Canoe Lake, South Parade Pier the beach,souhsea shopping area and Gunwharf.
