We are a local, Gaelic speaking, family owned business. It is centrally located within a couple of minutes walk from the ferry and bus terminals. Stornoway Golf Club, Lews Castle and the new Museum nan Eilean are ten minutes walk away. Stornoway Bed and Breakfast offers newly renovated accommodation between two properties, 29 and 32 Kenneth Street and "The Stables", to the rear of 29.
29 Kenneth Street hosts Room 1-5 and the Stables. Number 29 Kenneth Street was built in early to mid 19th Century and is a category c listed building and features the original exposed stone walls downstairs.
No 32 is a short walk across the street and hosts those staying in rooms 6-9. This building offers a large lounge and fully fitted kitchen for exclusive use of our guests. Each bedroom has digital TV, and there is free wi-fi internet in all properties.
Parking is on street and we have no designated parking spaces. Breakfast and check-in are at No. 29, as is the lockable cycle shed.
We are a local Gaelic speaking family all born and brought up on the wonderful Island. Angus is a chef and enjoys experimenting with the breakfast menu to bring you a unique plate using locally sourced ingredients. We love hospitality and welcoming guests from all over the world!
