Hello, we’re Monica and Gavin, your hosts at Strathview Lodge. We love nature, the peaceful pace of Highland life, and meeting people from near and far. Our home overlooks the sea and the loch, surrounded by trees and hills — a place we’re grateful to share with travellers who want a quiet, comfortable stay. We take pride in offering a warm welcome, a good night’s rest, and local tips to help you enjoy this beautiful part of Scotland.

Our tranquil four star en suite accommodation guesthouse is situated some 5.3 miles to Royal Dornoch with its world renowned Golf Courses, award winning beach and twelfth century cathedral. There is a large parking area which can accommodate 6 vehicles. All rooms are located on the ground floor although the house is reached by a number of flights of steps, there is more than ample private car parking space, and storage for cycles is available. Both Dornoch (5.3 miles) and Golspie (5.5 miles) offer a good variety of restaurants. Wireless Internet is available for our guests. Strathview is no smoking inside the building, but smokers are free to smoke in the gardens away from the house. We do not accept pets. Strathview offers full Scottish and Continental breakfast, with vegetarian meals on request.
