Lying in the rural Machno valley, Penmachno is a village sitting just 4 miles to the south of Betws-y-Coed by the Gwydir Forest. There is a local shop for all your essentials and a pub restaurant for those times when you dont want to cook. Not only is this area steeped in natural beauty for you to just sit and enjoy if you want to, it is also a hive of activity for walkers and perhaps most popular with mountain bikers. The Penmachno Trails are 30km of single track and forest trails, and the trailhead actually starts in the village. But if cycling isnt your thing, Penmachno is perfectly located to explore the caves at Conwy Falls, the nearby bustling village of Betws y Coed, and even the adventures at Zip World Forest and Zip World Slate Caverns; in Blaenau Ffestiniog. There really is something for everyone! Parking is to the rear of the property accessed via a side road. It is a large car park with direct access to the top of the garden. There is also some limited parking at the front of the house but this cannot be guaranteed.
