Rest Assured Properties has been established since 2009. We have the pleasure of renting out gorgeous second homes all located in the South Hams area of South Devon. All are within easy reach of beaches and for walkers, the South West Coastal Path.

The Milking Parlour can be found close to Bigbury on Sea in the South Hams, South Devon. This truly gorgeous 3 bedroom barn conversion is full of character and space. It’s a wonderful property to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the South Hams countryside whilst also being within easy reach of some of the best beaches the South West has to offer; Bigbury on Sea, Bantham, Thurlestone and Hope Cove are all within a short drive. The Milking Parlour is accessed through the stable front door into the large kitchen/diner. Fully fitted with Bosch ovens, dishwasher, 70/30 fridge freezer, extraction hood and microwave. A small utility room is off the kitchen and houses the washing machine/dryer. Stairs lead to the upper ground floor and to the upper floors. On the upper ground floor, there is a lovely light airy snug space. The comfortable lounge is accessed through double half glass doors. 2 spacious sofas and a comfy leather arm chair with foot stool face the log burner and Freesat tv. A beautiful wide timber back door leads from the snug to an enclosed private garden with large garden dining table. There is level pedestrian access from the garden to the car park - ideal if you have bikes, surf boards or SUPs, and an outside garden tap to wash off the days sand and salt. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom and enjoys a quirky balcony overlooking the large kitchen dining room. Please note; this has an open balcony overlooking the kitchen so young children must be supervised at all times. The second bedroom has twin beds with plenty of storage and the master bedroom houses a king bed. This is a lovely spacious room with views over the back garden. The master bedroom has the added benefit of a modern walk-in shower ensuite. There is also a lovely family bathroom with bath and shower over. To the front of The Milking Parlour is a shared courtyard, which the owners say reminds them of Tuscany. There is one allocated parking space.

The South Hams is an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are lucky to have a wide choice of sandy beaches, great for paddle boarders, surfers and sand castle builders. We are close to Dartmoor National Park and have many interesting, quirky towns on our doorstep including Salcombe, Dartmouth and Modbury to name a few.
