The Mill is set in a large private garden accessed by a quiet country lane which forms part of the Banff to Boyndie cycle route. The tasteful conversion created a large open plan living space on the first floor, with a bridge access over the old lade, and three downstairs bedrooms and a bathroom. Relax in front of the wood-burning stove, sit outside with a glass of wine and read a book or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The picturesque fishing village of Portsoy, with its quaint harbour, sandy beach, shop, pub and coffee shops, is within a 2 mile walking distance. Access is by key-box and the code will be supplied to guests. We are available by telephone to answer any questions that may arise.

Portsoy Harbour was recently featured in the final series of hit TV show "Peaky Blinders". Portsoy is also famed for its delicious ice cream! Nearby the Mill are many historic castles and gardens. From the spectacular ruined Findlater Castle to Duff House in Banff. The River Deveron is famous for its salmon fishing and the Spey has countless whisky distilleries to visit. Or you can visit the nearby coastal towns and decide for yourself if Portsoy or Cullen ice cream is better! If you’re keen on golf, there is a fantastic range of golf courses along the coast. Moray old course, Duff House Royal, Hopeman, and Cullen Links are all easily accessible and great courses.
