Sunset Retreat is a place of calm and tranquility. Private and secluded yet on the edge of the village. A place of escape to unwind and chill-ax. Who would you like to share it with, the decision is yours. You can enjoy a glass of bubbles in the Jacuzzi while watching a film or enjoy some music, then BBQ or light the log fire, Its rare that the reality of what i have described delivers but this truly exceeds all expectations. Whats not to like , a big 6 person hot tub, log cabin with projector. Comfy outside seating, a fully equipped modern 2 bedroom, 4 person minimalist cabin all set in a delightful sun trap. The list goes on and on. Hey call and try it, judge for yourself. It wont be beaten on facilities provided and cost.
About us Margaret and i are a mature couple who love to travel which we try to do as often as we can. I love gardening and enjoying the summer colours bursting into full display after all the work planting and nurturing the plants, as you will see if you ever visit my garden. We recognise and enjoy good hospitality and that in turn is what we provide.
Portglenone is a small rural town. One very long street with umpteen bars, shops, cafes and good eating houses. The North Coast is on your doorstep with the Bushmills whiskey distillery, Giants Causeway, Ballintoy harbour, the marvellous Benone beach with miles of clean sand, the game of thrones locations and the Green green Glens of Antrim along with Cushendall. Waterfoot and Ballycastle. Close by is the oldest thatched pub in Ireland the Crosskeys Inn C1654 famous for its Guinness and Traditional music, well worth a trip on its own.
