A beautiful en suite apartment with guest living room and eating space. No kitchen available, but equipped with tea and coffee, crockery, microwave and fridge. Large bright bedroom with king size bed, and space for your personal belongings. The apartment is set in the front of the house with private guest access immediately into the apartment, and a large garden for guest use with beautiful views.
My name is Elaine, I live in the back of the property and am available for assistance and to ensure a perfect stay.
Unfortunately I have suffered a bout of ill health and a bereavement, hence we have only just opened the property mid season.
The property is located just outside the centre of Tavistock, situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Just a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Meadowlands Park, featuring the river Tavy, the canal, a play park, multiple sports clubs and Chill Cafe, open for eat in and takeaway. Alongside the park is Meadowlands Leisure Centre and The Wharf, with live music, cinema screenings and a cafe.
Tavistock is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a long history. St. Eustachius Church is situated in the centre of town, boasting 1400 years of history. Also in the centre are the Town Hall, Pannier Market, Bedford Hotel, and Old Police Station. The Tavistock Museum hosts information of the town’s long history of trading and mining.
