NEARBY.. Whether you are looking for an active adventure holiday or a relaxing break away from it all, you will find everything within easy reach. It’s a 10 min short drive into Dolgellau & 20 min drive to the coast at Barmouth or Fairbourne. Set in The Snowdonia National Park, Tawel Fryn is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. Large CO-OP & Euro Spar stores are a 10 min drive away. Dolgellau old town has a leisure centre with pubs, cafes, many good restaurants (we can recommend several), independent shops, and a monthly farmer’s market. There is a Wednesday Market in Machynlleth all year round. For those with young families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches can be found in Tywyn, Aberdovey, or Barmouth. If you’re into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker’s paradise with Cadair Idris just a few minutes away & the house is dog-friendly!
