The Albannach is a grand old Highland home set in 5 acres of grounds on the edge of the village of Lochinver. We offer a range of sumptuous suites on a bed and breakfast basis & a self catering apartment in the grounds. 'The Byre' is located beside the main house in a separate building, with its own entrance, a very private aspect and its own private hot tub. The Kalsoom and the Penthouse are the main house enjoying the most fantastic views of Suilven and Canisp. Our self catering apartment, The Coach House, is located in the grounds with everything you need for an independent stay in the Highlands. Our rooms have been extensively and lovingly renovated to the highest standards and many of our guests return year after year. You are free to wander the gardens, explore the wonderful landscape beyond and the village of Lochinver is only a 10 minute walk around the loch

The Village of Lochinver is a scenic 10 minute walk away and is well served with several restaurants, cafes and shops. There is exquisite solitude to be found by walking through the wilderness or tackling one of the local hills - Canisp and Suilven are ever present in the skyline. A number of pristine beaches are located off the famous Drumbeg driving loop. One of the best, Achmelvich, is also accessible by an invigorating country walk from The Albannach.
