The Bothy is a lovely apartment with its own private access. It works perfectly for a couple but can sleep up to three comfortably.
There is secure private parking and a really great coffee shop just next door.
We have electric gates and so are very secure and have space to store bicycles.
Being just next the the canal and next to the spot to hire canal boats we are a great spot for the beginning or end of an extended canal boat holiday. Boats can also be arranged for you for day trips.
We can also arrange a pub trip in the local horse drawn Gypsy caravan! Last if it’s kind In Wiltshire.
I am an interior designer working locally and in London. We have two small children and two friendly dogs.
We moved to Honeystreet in December 2018 and have been blown away by the location. Walks, beautiful scenery and all country pursuits are on the door step. From the Bothy you can walk to the start of the Ridgeway and all the way along to Essex allegedly. You can also walk from the Bothy to the White Horse which takes about 40 minutes. Being next to the Canal we are also a great place for a stop over if walking from or to Bath!
We have some fabulous local pubs and are ten minutes from the market and restaurants of Marlborough. On our doorstep are also some of the more esoteric bits of Wiltshire’s history like Avebury stone circles and Adams Grave.
