Situated in the rear garden adjacent to my house in the lochside village of St Fillans. The Bothy is your home to relax & chill, with complimentary breakfast basket, welcome drinks, log burner, free wifi, fresh decor & design, smart tv, patio area, outdoor seating, gas barbecue, walking & cycling suggestions for the great outdoors which is on your doorstep! Within walking distance of all village amenities & a convenient starting point or stopover for local walks, cycles and onward journeys. A studio style self contained space, with its own private entrance. Frequently guests' first reaction is not only to tell me how beautiful the space is, but also that it's much bigger than it appears in the photographs. Cooking & Eating - there’s a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster & outdoor barbecue. There’s lots of places to eat out within 20 min drive or simple hot rolls etc available at the local shop.

In recent years I’ve returned to my family roots in Highland Perthshire. My home is in the loch side village of St Fillans. A very special community with amazing scenery, wildlife on our doorstep. I'm a Yoga Teacher, practicing at two local venues. I also enjoy other peaceful pursuits here including walking, gardening, interiors, baking. Hosting guests at The Bothy is my way of letting visitors from all over the world find a luxury self contained space with amazing views so that they can share a little bit of everything St Fillans & the surrounding area has to offer.

Set within Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park - St Fillans - the sleepy village on the loch that has hills, mountains, rivers, wildlife, walking/cycling paths/routes, water sports, golf and fishing - all on it's doorstep. There are 2 small hotels with restaurants, a village store/coffee shop & visiting mobile post office, banks & library. The village of Lochearnhead is a 10 minute drive west, at the opposite end of the loch and has a hotel & pub serving bar meals. The village of Comrie is a 10 minute bus/drive east and has amenities that include - 24 hour ATM, hotel with restaurant & bars, coffee shops, post office and independent shops that include bakers, chemist, butchers, mini-markets, gift/craft shop, fruit shop & deli. There's a Fish & Chip shop & an excellent restaurant. Crieff - the 'capital' town of Strathearn, is a 20 minute bus/drive east and has much broader amenities than Comrie including a Co-op food store (open 7 days 6am till 11pm) & Aldi (open 7 days 8am till 10pm) banks, petrol station, pubs, restaurants & coffee shops.
