A beautiful double height barn conversion mixing stylish contemporary and character features, which sleeps 4. Full height glass panels to both the front and rear of the property allow light to stream in, with trifold doors opening onto the private terraced garden. Set on a 500 acre working farm in the heart of Shropshire, The Cart House is a real gem of a hideaway! Furnished and styled by Deborah Meredith this barn is a real treat for those after a unique boutique getaway. The Cart House can be hired individually or together with The Forge and The Byre and can be linked via interconnecting doorways. *The barns have an eco policy and we are kind to our local environment and planet where ever possible.

We live in the farmhouse next to The Barns. We are always happy to help our guests with any questions they may have on the area and are happy to share our lovely farm with you. We are available by phone during the daytime if we are out and about on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you. David & Deborah Meredith

Aston Eyre is a small rural hamlet which centres around the 900 year old church. The Carthouse is part of a 17th Century barn conversion, completed in 2022. The barn sits in the centre of a 500 acre working farm. There are many market towns, The Iron Bridge Gorge museums, Severn Valley Railway and other world class tourist attractions within easy reach. There are many beautiful walks in the surrounding Shropshire Hills with country pubs to be enjoyed! There is no public transport to Aston Eyre. A car is recommended for seeing the surrounding towns and tourist attractions. There are footpaths from the farm to the surrounding Shropshire Hills.
