Our modern, spacious three bedroom holiday home is the perfect setting for those who want to enjoy the beach, explore the beautiful Northumbrian coastline or just rest and relax by the sea. Ideal for families, walkers, dog lovers and those who can’t resist feeling the sand between their toes. Situated in the heart of Newbiggin by the Sea, The Elderton is a stylish home, close to everything you could need for a memorable short break or holiday. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs. As you enter the house you'll find the bright, spacious living room on your right and the hallway leads on to the family room. Both rooms are equipped with smart TVs and are cosy and welcoming. You'll find plenty of seating plus a selection of games and jigsaws so you can relax and unwind. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, large range oven and 5 ring gas hob, fridge freezer and microwave. Heading upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom, with its king sized bed, a single room and a large family room equipped with both a double sofa bed and a single bed, for maximum flexibility. The bathroom is modern and spacious and you'll love the rain shower! The house is newly renovated and is clean, bright and modern; very comfortable and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, with good quality linen and mattresses and we provide towels and beach towels for our guests. The Elderton is located in a residential area, just a short, flat walk away from the beach and the town centre, where you'll find an array of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. Oh, and an amazing ice cream parlour! Guest access: You'll have the whole house to yourself. Other things to note: We welcome up to two well behaved dogs but please note that there is only a small yard at the rear of the property.

Gary and Sarah would love to welcome you to our holiday home in Newbiggin by the Sea. We've tried to create a modern, cosy and inviting space and we are sure you'll enjoy it just as much as we do. We've loved Newbiggin for many years and one of our favourite things to do is go hunting for sea glass on the beach. Our amazing local housekeeper, Natalie, will be on hand to deal with any emergencies or to answer any queries. We're always just a phone call or a text away though, so you won’t be stuck if you have a question.

Newbiggin is a quaint fishing village, and has an array of award-winning beaches, independent cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as being within easy drive of a theatre, a multi-screen and an independent cinema, ice skating rink, swimming pool and much more. The location is perfect for exploring the wonderful Northumberland countryside where you can visit Morpeth, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne, Alnmouth, Craster or Warkworth or go walking in the beautiful Cheviot Hills. There is easy access into Morpeth, Blyth, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Newcastle city centre, with bus stops located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the house. The beach, shops, cafes and restaurants of Newbiggin are all within a few minutes walk of The Elderton. On street parking is free and plentiful so unless you fancy a day trip into one of the lovely local towns, you can park the car and forget it during your stay.
