We are a husband and wife team who came across The Foxes Den by chance (formerly called The Case is Altered). The previous owners were here for 35 years, so they wanted the new owners to love the place as much as they did. From our first visit, as we drove through the gates, we couldn't believe the little gem behind. Set in stunning surroundings with mature trees and plants and farmland views, we knew immediately we had to have this place and could see the potential it offered. Having been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, hosting and attending to our customers needs is paramount to make sure every stay is a relaxing and enjoyable one. Service is so important to us and we endeavour to make each guest feel special to ensure their visit is a relaxed, happy and memorable one.

The Foxes Den Coffee House and Rooms is located between the market town of Sudbury in Suffolk and the historic city of Colchester in Essex. This makes it the perfect location to visit all that Suffolk and Essex has to offer. There are some beautiful places to visit right on our doorstep. Our newly refurbished coffee house serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea. All our food is homemade on site using as much locally sourced produce as possible. Set in the grounds of the main house there are five double en-suite rooms all with their own front door and communal outside seating area. We also have a larger self contained apartment with its own lounge, dining area, kitchen, spa bath ensuite and private hot tub patio area overlooking the fields behind. There is also a large car parking area.

The Foxes Den is situated between the historic City of Colchester and the market town of Sudbury. It's the perfect location to relax and unwind or explore the local attractions. All the rooms are set in the grounds of the main house which overlooks farmland to the back. Have breakfast in our conservatory or sit out in the sunshine on our patio area.
