The Goose In The Woods is a recently renovated campground in Wellesbourne Hastings, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and garden. The Goose was established in 2025 but was many years in the making. We are just at the start of our journey but we are committed to building the UK’s best wellness retreat. This will become a place not just to spend time but to get value from it. We want people to enjoy the space, freedom and luxury our retreat can provide. Get in touch with nature, wild swim, cook outdoors (weather permitting). We want you to create the trip of your dreams and our role is just to create the environment for you to do it. Although this is an escape from city life and some people may want to take the opportunity to digitally detox. Our cabins are still set up with high speed WiFi this is so you can stream movies on a rainy day or WFC (Work from cabin) helpful when you want to stay for a week and not use up annual leave. A place to make memories and invest in yourself.

Thegooseinthewoods is located on the grounds of a 17th Century Farmhouse. An idyllic escape set within 40 acres of beautiful countryside. Right at the edge of the Cotswolds and 5 miles outside Shakespeare’s hometown. The cabins are surrounded by nature. Experience sunrises on the deck and sunsets by the lake. Stargaze by the fire whilst toasting marshmallows. Cool down from tennis by diving in the lake and finish the day soaking in the rolltop tub. This is 5* luxury surrounded by wild deer.
