A large Georgian country farmhouse. The perfect setting for a relaxing retreat from the fast pace of everyday life. Our private farm trail and trout lake gives space for guests to walk from the door. Hard tennis court also available onsite. In easy reach of historic city of Lincoln (20mins by car) and great location for exploring The Lincolnshire Wolds and market towns.
We offer 3 en suite bedrooms and a small studio apartment(The Old Dairy). A comfortable guests sitting room is available with a welcoming open fire in winter. Tea and cake is offered on arrival , a great way to chat with your hosts and find out about the area. Although not a hotel, this Bed and Breakfast offers every facility to ensure a perfect stay, where a friendly personal welcome is guaranteed.
On the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, ideal for walking and cycling. Only 20 minutes from the historic part of Lincoln. Countryside setting with open views towards the cathedral. The Wolds Market towns of Louth, Horncastle, Alford and Market Rasen are a short drive. Lincoln Cathedral and Castle are worth a day out or if you are an aviation enthusiast there is the Bomber Command centre in Lincoln, The Battle of Britain centre at Coningsby and The Aviation Heritage Centre near Woodhall Spa.
There are some great antique centres especially Hemswell Antique centre and Newark Showground antique fairs.
