The Green House at Tathhill was built in 1921 as the servants' quarters for the main house which acted as a game shooting lodge. It still retains many of its original features and exudes period cottage charm. Although in the midst of the countryside, it is only a few miles from the M74 motorway. Despite being adjacent to the main house, it has private use of a large section of the garden. French windows lead out to a paved terrace with outdoor seating/table and views out over beautiful countryside. The living/dining/kitchen area is open plan so ideal for sociable living. The Green House is fully centrally heated and also has an AGA which provides additional warmth as well as cooking facilities. The two bedrooms have very comfortable King size double beds with quality mattresses and electric blankets.

Piers and Nikki live on site in the main house. They moved recently from Moffat out to the nearby beautiful countryside at Tathhill and have never looked back. The sweeping views out towards Moffat are spectacular.

Tathhill sits in an elevated position above Moffat and the Moffat Hills. The views are stunning. Despite its rural setting, Tathhill is ideally located a short drive from the M74 motorway and from Moffat. Moffat has a great range of independent shops, pubs and eateries. The locality is perfect for walks and cycle rides and has many striking natural features such as The Grey Mare's Tail, St. Mary's Loch and The Devil's Beef Tub.
