Quintessential Norfolk country Inn with great food and rooms. Hosts Justin and Keighly have combined many years of industry experience delivering the very best in customer service in traditional great pub food and wines,ales and spirits.
Justin Chef Patron has many years experience as a classically trained Chef,working as Head Chef and later Executive Chef in various Fine Dining establishments, restaurants, pubs and Hotels throughout the South East of England.
Keighly also has many years of experience in the Pub trade from the early years supporting the running of the family Bar, various roles within hospitality including events management, then continuing to further her knowledge in the trade working as Operations Director for a Pub management company, comprehensively overseeing daily operations of 5 very successful pubs and over 65 staff.
With this vast knowledge and experience we are able to offer bespoke menus and events management for all your requirements.

The front part of the Inn is circa 17th century or earlier timber framed with red brick cladding added circa early 19th century. So you can enjoy our traditional large ingle nook fire place with log burner on the cooler nights and oak beams throughout. We also have a conservatory overlooking the rear garden area, which has established shrubs, grass and large children's play frame .Large gravelled carpark
The local 100th Bomber squadron memorial museum only 10 minutes’ drive has historical connections with the Inn, as former service persons often frequented. The history of the bomber group is soon to be made into a 9 hour Mini-series called “Masters of the air” Produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, Directed by Cary Fukunaga. We currently hold a 5 Food Star Local Environmental Health award for the high standards in our food production areas.
