公司信息
The Harnser (old Norfolk for Heron) is a 17th century traditional flint building in the heart of Cley Next the Sea. It started life as a pub and was formerly the Kings Head of Cley until 1971, when the name was changed to The Harnser and was converted into tea rooms and bed and breakfast. In 2021 the refurbished Cafe /Bistro opened to the general public with 5 bedrooms, all with their own private facilities, together with car-parking for 6/8 vehicles- a rarity in the village.
住宿信息
A beautiful rambling old flint and brick building nestled in picturesque Cley high street, close to the marshes and beach. The building has character; wonky doorways, old wooden floors, oak beams and crooked corners. It is perfect in its imperfections. All rooms have private shower rooms, however rooms 2 & 4 have theirs across the corridor from them. Rooms 1,3 and 5 have ensuites.
There is free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, Hairdryers, Tea and Coffee facilities in each bedroom. We are dog friendly in all areas including the bedrooms. We have no fitted carpets in the rooms, lovely painted floorboards with rugs on. Cosy, comfortable and unpretentious!
We are open as a Cafe, Bar and Bistro after a refit in 2021, serving breakfast to our guests before opening to the public at 11am until 4 pm, serving light bites, toasted sandwiches, soup, cakes and coffees from 12pm to 3 pm. We reopen at 7pm for evening meals and drinks, serving a variety of home cooked dishes until 9pm, closing at 10:30pm. Please note The Harnser is closed every Tuesday though we do serve our guests who are staying their breakfast that morning.
