Our lovingly restored 17th-century coaching inn, complete with inglenook fireplace offers a restful base for locals and visiting tourists and businessfolk alike. A Free House, the bar is the perfect venue for pre or post-meal drinks. Well stocked with wines, spirits, and soft drinks, real ales are a permanent and popular feature here. The restaurant is perfect for either a leisurely lunch or as a place in which to relax at the end of a day of activity and sightseeing. Gift vouchers are of course available for those who want to treat someone to a delicious meal. We're a child-friendly pub with a children's play area just down the road and we welcome dogs in our garden and in the bar too.
