The Hide is a charming countryside cabin designed for two, nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. This fully refurbished 1980s caravan has been thoughtfully transformed into a cosy and one private space, perfect for couples looking to unwind in a peaceful, rural setting. Inside, the cabin features a bright and welcoming living area with views into the surrounding woodland, a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and dining space, and a comfortable double bedroom with soft lighting and rustic decor. The modern shower room completes the layout, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. Outside, guests can enjoy their own private balcony and soak in the hot tub under the stars, with sweeping views of the countryside. The property includes free on-site parking, fast Wi-Fi, TV, heating, and a welcome basket on arrival. There is also a private entrance, sound system, and outdoor dining area for enjoying warm evenings. Guests are welcome to explore the adjoining field and spot local wildlife such as rabbits, deer, and birds. Please note, The Hide is for adults only and is not suitable for children, infants, or pets. The hot tub is available for use throughout your stay but is not available after 10:30 p.m. the night before you leave, since it needs to be emptied for the next guests. A short safety disclaimer is required to be signed upon arrival. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway, romantic break, or simply time to switch off and recharge, The Hide offers a cosy, off-grid experience with modern comforts.

The Hide is located in the quiet village of Newton-on-Rawcliffe, right on the doorstep of the stunning North York Moors National Park. Surrounded by woodland and rolling hills, it is the perfect place to escape city life and connect with nature. Just five minutes away is the historic market town of Pickering, where you will find shops, pubs, restaurants, and the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Thornton-le-Dale, a picturesque village featured in Bangers and Cash, is only ten minutes away, while the vibrant cities of York and Whitby can be reached in around 45 minutes by car. For nature lovers, Dalby Forest is a 30-minute drive and ideal for walking, cycling, and wildlife spotting. Scarborough's coastal views and beaches are around 40 minutes away. A local pub is just a short walk from the cabin, but we recommend stocking up on essentials in Pickering as there are no shops in the immediate village. Please note, due to the rural location, a car is essential for getting around.
