True countryside living with a touch of comfort. Wind your way into the hills along narrow lanes and eventually come to The Hideaway. Sat on the original stone floor of a former cow byre, our cosy Shepherd’s Hut is surrounded by idyllic countryside and the magical North Pennines AONB. The views are stunning, the peace unbroken and the night skies incredible.
It is the perfect base for a few relaxing days in the countryside or to explore the superb hiking and biking routes.
The views are stunning, the peace unbroken and the night skies incredible. The Hideaway is tucked next to an old 18th Century barn surround by fields of grazing sheep. It is the perfect base for a few relaxing days in the calming countryside or heading off on superb hiking and biking routes.
The North Pennine Way is just over the hill and Alston, the highest market town in England is a couple of minutes drive with artisan shops and cafes.
