We are a friendly team at the Jug who are always here to help. As the general manager I live on site and am here most of the time to answer any questions that you may have, but when I'm not around then there is always one of the team on hand to help in any way that they can. If I'm not at work then you can quite often find me on the golf course.

The pub is within easy reach of the M53 and M56 so makes it the perfect stop if you are looking to visit the nearby cities of Liverpool or Chester. Heswall is a lovely small town that has all amenities that one could need:shops, restaurants, bars, supermarket, doctors. Heswall has a bus station which has good links to most local and towns and cities including Liverpool and Chester. It also enjoys stunning views over to North Wales if you head down to lower Heswall. And you can also hop onto the Wirral Way (a 13 mile stretch of disused railway that is now a stunning walking and cycling path around the Wirral) and enjoy some fresh air in either direction heading north or south on the Wirral.
