The new operators have a wealth of experience and bring with them a reputable executive chef. We will be aiming to achieve AA 4 star recognition for our rooms and rosette status for our restaurant.

Now under new ownership from May 2025, the pub has undergone a full refurbishment programme throughout and we hope to achieve a AA 4 star graded rating with the addition of the accolade of a rosette for our restaurant dining. Alongside this a full bar menu with a wide array of acholic & non alcoholic beverages will be available. Situated just south of Winchester and surrounded by the beautiful Hampshire downlands, this grade 2 listed property is a village inn with 8 newly refurbished ensuite royal bedrooms with some rooms featuring roll top baths. Each room has a flatscreen smart Tv, DAB radio & superfast internet.
Wake up in style & enjoy a memorable breakfast with locally sourced produce & sausages from the local butcher, a stones throw away. Our delightful setting will prove extremely popular for visitors to the local area and the historic city of Winchester for those looking for a pre cruise stop off and/or those looking for a business stay.
