'The Little Post House' is a detached cottage, with its own access from Fore st, and Gunpool lane.
Perfectly positioned in the old part of Boscastle village, 2 mins walk from the Napoleon Inn, and 10 mins from the harbour.
Bocastle is the perfect base from which to explore the wonderful local beaches, cliff paths and moors.
Guests can enjoy walking, fishing, surfing, and many more activities right on our doorstep.
We live next door and will meet you to check you in, after that we will leave you alone to enjoy your break. If you need us for tips, or any other reason please feel free to call or text, we will be happy to help in any way you need.
Boscastle village is a tiny port with a natural harbour. Before railways Boscastle was a thriving port, serving much of Cornwall. The long narrow valley runs down to a steep rocky entrance to the sea beyond. It is a place steeped in history, associated with authors and artists who have been inspired by its remoteness and rugged beauty.
Most of the land around the village is owned by the ‘National Trust’, where you can find footpaths to explore the area.
The Coastline around Boscastle is truly exceptional, and can be accessed by the cost-path in both directions from the Harbour.
