The Pembrokeshire coastal path goes straight past the top of the drive. The beaches of freshwater west, broadhaven and barafundle are close by as are some of the best climbing routes of south pembrokeshire. The lodge can sleep upto 4 people. There is a small kitchette with kettle, mini fridge,microwave,toaster and double gas hob.
'Ensuite'shower and toilet. Sleeping area for 2 in separate room . 2 or more guest there is a double day bed in the living room. There is an electric shower. The wash hand basins provide cold water only. So,to wash the dishes you will need to boil the kettle for hot water. The lodge is fully insulated so can be used all year round.
Please let me know upon booking if you would like to book the Hot tub (additional fee) for your stay to make sure it is ready for your arrival
This is a working farm and there is somewhere which is always work in progress. Sometimes the grass isnt cut on time ,sometimes the goats eat the laundry.sometimes the wood piles look untidy.
Walks/ Beaches ; Within 3 miles of the house you will find Stack rocks- Sand stone monolith pillars out to sea. Plenty of bird life and the green bridge of wales . Walking the cliff path you find yourselves at St Govans head. Where there is a small chapel which is built into the cliff face by the sea. Adjacent is the little village of Bosherston which has its lily ponds and a tour of the old stack pole estate. 10 min walk from here is Broad haven south beach overlooking church rock in the bay.
All of this can be done off road on a hybrid or Mountain Bike
Barafundle Bay. Recently voted one of the best beaches in the world....probably.
2 miles from the house is the surfing beach of freshwater west.The most consistent break in Wales.High and low tide options. 1 mile beach .Waves for all levels of experience. If you fancy a go give Dean at Pembrokeshire SUP and surf tours to hire or book a tour.

2 options within 10 min drive of the house. The Stackpole inn. Best gastro pub in pembrokeshire . You'll need to book in advance, especially on the weekends.
The Speculation Inn. Good pub food and always a roaring fire
