公司信息
Sowerbys Holiday Cottages started up in 2002 and has grown gradually with a portfolio of 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.
住宿信息
The Long Cottage is a beautifully presented conversion of an original period stable block, built in the local carrstone and transformed by its new owners into a luxurious holiday home. This superb retreat is perfect for three couples or families with most of the accommodation on the ground floor, with a lovely attic room (for 3 children) on the first floor. There's the advantage of an adjoining annexe (The Stables) which has its own bedroom suite and small kitchen - perfect for grandparents or those wanting some privacy! Ideally situated on the royal Sandringham Estate, it's only five minutes drive from Sandringham House and its glorious grounds with a variety of woodland walks, cafe and superb children's playground. Gardens surround the house with a lovely south facing rear garden for guests to enjoy.
Outside school holiday periods, Long Cottage is available to rent at reduced rates for up to six guests, without the use of the attic room (bedroom 4).
周边信息
This beautiful area is best known for the location of Sandringham House the royal holiday home. The stunning house is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and sits at the heart of the 20,000-acre Sandringham Estate. The beautiful gardens around the house extend to 60 acres. In spring there are displays of rhododendrons and magnolias as well as havens for bees and butterflies in the summer. Surrounding the house and gardens are the 600 acres of heath and woodland of the superb Country Park, which is open to the public daily.
There is plenty to do on a trip to Sandringham - you will need at least four hours to explore the house alone. Walk on one of the trails, enjoy a picnic, visit the Adventure Play Area or maybe enjoy an ice cream or lunch in the Sandringham Cafe and Coffee Shop. The Estate also has an Exhibition and Transport Museum which holds an amazing collection from the very first Royal car to the 1939 Merryweather fire engine.
